Women's Merino Wool Thermal Fleece Hoody

I live in beach side town in country Vic and it gets really cold in winter. I am outside a lot and wanted a warm hoody to handle the cold. While yes it did cost more than my other hoody's it is the warmest hoody I have ever owned. Well worth every cent IMO. Very soft on the inside with deep pockets for hands and phone etc. Really pleased and a big thank you Smitten for a fantastic product.

This is definitely a "particularly large piece" and I probably could have gone down three sizes, but two is fine for an oversized but not ridiculously so result. I usually go for an 8 in relaxed pieces/rib fabric, and a 10 in fitted pieces/jersey/ponte fabric in the women's styles. In other unisex sized tops such as the turtleneck long sleeve top, I would usually go for an XS. The XS was oversized in this style, and I probably could have gone down to 2XS without any trouble due to the cut and stretch in the fabric. The fleece is amazingly soft and fluffy, and the outer side is beautifully smooth. The hood and thumbholes in the sleeves have been useful during recent unusually cold weather. This is a great garment for outdoor activities - it keeps you warm when it's really cold, but it doesn't make you overheat if you are exerting yourself. It shed a fair bit of fleecy lint during the first few washes and wears, but that was more than balanced by how nice and useful it is. I usually use it around the house or for outdoor exercise, but it looks casually cool enough over leggings and hi top sneakers to wear about the town.

I have owned this jumper for 3 years and it is still as soft as it was the day I got it. By far my most used jumper in my closet and you can be sure once it is worn out I will be ordering another. Well worth it!
