Women's Merino Wool Shift Dress with Short Sleeves

I fits well. I have worn it with tights, leggings, and by itself - all on the same trip. 50F to 85F. My husband who didn’t appreciate the cut of the dress, said it would look better if it was a little more fitted. I am 5’6” and it hits right at the knee. Broader shoulders. 36B. 130lbs. I usually wear an Australian 10 but went with the 8 for a slimmer fit. The 6 would probably look good but be too snug in the chest and shoulders for my liking.

Love the dress, have a number of Tiffany dresses. Such an easy style and shape, with pockets. Great for travel, can be layered for cooler weather and changing look. Great standby if weather suddenly warms up, as it did in NZ last year. But this new colour just had to be added to the wardrobe. Bring on Burnt Orange please.

Really love this dress. Recently wore it out to dinner on a 28C night and was perfectly comfortable. I purchased size 12 (173cm and 70kgs) and it was roomy but perfect for me. Probably could have gotten a 10 but I prefer the extra give as I don't like clothes feeling too tight. Totally recommended. Thank you Smitten for finally making stylish clothes out of wool!

I couldn't decide between the blue and green so ordered both intending to send one back. Well that plan swiftly ended when the dresses hung so perfectly, true to colour (same as appears on web) and so comfy. And we all know just how much we love pockets! Definitely recommend this investment piece. Not to mention the advice I received from Smitten re sizing being spot on (one size down from usual). Bravo smitten - I'll be looking out for new colours in the future.

Love the dress…and the pockets …but suggest placing pockets one pocket length higher for two reasons…1. My arms aren’t that long 2. When anything is in the pocket it weighs down meaning I need even longer arms to get my keys out. Pockets at waist/hip height would be good. ;)
